As a mother of five I enjoy a busy life. I trained as a vet nurse and completed many other companion animal papers before I settled into a doggy daycare roll. When I had the opportunity to purchase Paws and Play I didn’t hesitate, I love the family atmosphere we have created and all the friends both human and pooch alike.

I have always wanted to work with dogs in some way. I stumbled into a role here at paws and play 2 years ago and never looked back. I have increased my knowledge field by completing level 5 diploma in homeopathy and look forward to extending that into Animal Massage in the future.

I’m a mother of 2 boisterous boys, 2 crazy dogs, 2 horses and a cat. I’m a qualified vet nurse and an absolute animal lover. I feel so privileged to share my days with so many incredible fur babies and making sure that they are cared for.

Hi I’m Maddi, born and raised in Tauranga. I have been working at Paws and Play since October 2019 and have loved every minute!! Ive always been an animal lover, so finding a job where I could play with dogs all day is definitely a win for me. When im not busy playing with the fur babies at work, you will find me at my sisters playing with her fur babies.

What We Offer
Doggie Daycare
We offer a fun Safe caring environment for all dogs to enjoy. We encourage mental stimulation as much as physical exercise to ensure dogs are enjoying their time and going home tired not over stimulated.
Boarding & Pet Sitting
On site boarding is available for regular daycare dogs who are comfortable to attend daycare during the day. For dogs who do not attend daycare regularly or other pets not suitable for daycare we have a confident caring pet sitter available.
Onsite Food Sales
The amazing ROAR team are on site 6 days a week to help with any dietary requirements your pet may have.
